Broth could be more flavorful but its not bad. For the dipping sauce they ONLY have the bare essentials, no minced garlic, no green onions, etc. Price is honestly pretty decent, i would come back!
The male owner was dishonest! I was overcharged. The amount posted to my bank account was higher than what I actually paid in the store. It seems they may have added a tip without my approval, even though I didn’t authorize one when I paid. This was very disappointing and unprofessional. Please double-check your receipts and posted charges if you dine here — and be cautious when paying. I hope the restaurant addresses this issue and handles tips more transparently in the future.
Lemme tell you something to elevate your taste here. Get your food, grab your meats, veggies, whatever is up your alley. Then go across to Hi Hotpot across from Malay and ordered a $1 sauce. Then make yo sauce, bring it back to your table and your order from Malay should be ready. Now. Feast.
